As the evenings grow darker in Jyväskylä, the city comes to life with stunning light art installations. Tavinsulka is excited to be part of the City of Light a unique way to experience it—from a beautifully lit canoe! Join us for "Jyväsjärvi by Light," where you'll paddle across the lake, admiring the glowing artwork along the shores and gliding beneath illuminated bridges. There's no better way to soak up the magical autumn atmosphere!

You can paddle as a pair or bring the whole family – our canoes fit up to five people. Our friendly staff will provide all the necessary safety equipment and basic instructions so you’ll feel confident on the water. This activity is open to anyone who can swim, and children are welcome with a parent or guardian. Please note participation is at your own risk.
