Afternoon paddling in Leivonmäki National Park

We meet at Tavinsulka Aquatic Centrum around 1 pm. Select the needed equipment, load the trailer and drive to our departure point at the Leivonmäki National Park, in about three quarters of an hour. After a short introduction to paddling technique and safety, we are off to the lake Rutajärvi, and experience the sparkling colours of the Autumn. At some point we will land, have snacks, some hiking, perhaps experiencinh the 'Portage', transporting the canoe over a land-stretch, betveen two water bodies, as the Canadian exporers did hundreds of years ago. We expect to be back in Jyväskylä around 19:30, but we may be a bit late from that.
